Tony RYT 200 - Being a martial artist and Zen Buddhist, Tony never thought of becoming a yoga teacher, but life steered him otherwise. He started practicing yoga in 2013 as a help to his marital arts practice, but immediately took to it as he had “never felt so good” after any of his practices. Quickly he began deepening his practice, exploring classes with different teachers before eventually becoming a regular at Evenflow Yoga in Red Bank. In 2016, to further deepen his practice, he decided to go through the process of teacher training under Christian Valeriani, a student of Dharma Mittra. He initially with no intention of becoming a full time teacher, but half way through training all that changed. With the graduation from training, he began teaching and eventually left the “corporate world” to pursue teaching full time. Tony is also a musician, photographer, surfer and leads a vegan lifestyle.

His class is a peaceful, yet vigorous, vinyasa yoga practice that focuses on flowing through basic poses, maintaining them with proper alignment, moving with the breath and finding stillness in the postures; A traditional Hatha yoga classes combined with elements of Zen Buddhism. All levels welcome.
